Priority Species
This list contains the species in our area that Central Michigan CISMA focuses on. Each tier represent a different priority level. This is a living document, which means we will continuously evaluate and update our priorities as new species arrive and priorities change.

Some of these species are focused on through education and outreach; these species are usually ones that are well established where control on a county-wide scale is not feasible, but they are important for private property owners. These also include watch list species. These are species that are not in our area yet, and we want to make sure they don't make it here!
Others species are focused on through treatment and survey work. These are based on state and partner needs. A species lower on our priority list may be treated it is located in a priority area. These areas are also being evaluated continuously.
